Fun Weekend

Becky and Mike came out this weekend and we had a blast. They came out Fri night and got a hotel then on Sat morning they came over and we went to the park it was so cold but the kids had a lot of fun. At the park there is a huge slide that gets very dark in it and we could not get Ben to go down even if one of our lives depened on it. He was saying that he was scared of the dark. I dont know how he will move downstairs if he is scared of the dark. Spring Break went by really fast for us which was really nice.

Easter

I know I am late in posting this but Happy Easter we had a great day the night before we made resurection cookies which the kids didnt care for so I will not make them again. But the next day was good. The girls looked so cute in thier dresses. I will get them posted when Bryan down loads them.
The day before Easter was my friends daughters birthday and I made her cake for her it turned out really cute. I really love decorating cakes it is alot of fun. I made a butterfly for her. It was pretty easy to do once I figured it out.
We had parent teacher conferences for Ben the other day and he is doing awsome. He got all 3's and 4's. 3's are meeting expectations and 4 is exceeding expectations. His teacher is going to retest his reading to see where he is at. When he was tested the 1st time he was at end of 1st begining of 2nd grade level. She is working with him so well.
Spring Break started this week and yesterday was a crazy day the kids would not listen to me at all. But today is much better hopefully the rest will be good.

We have the crud

We have what I am calling the crud here in my house. Taylor got sick on Fri with a fever it stayed until Sun then on Mon she felt fine and the fever went away. Well guess what it came back yesterday. I did take her to the dr just to make sure everything was fine and she said that it is definitly viral and it has been lasting 2-3 weeks. Yikes. I am really hopeing that no one else gets it here in my family. I have a fair to do on Sat from 9-5 so I definitly need my energy up to do that plus I have a show to do tomorrow and I really cant be sick for that. Brianna does have a runny nose and a cough and Ben also has a cough. So I am hoping that they dont get any worse I definitly cant imagine Ben being out of school for 1 week that would be a nightmare trying to do all that make up work while he is sick.

Easter dresses

You know when you go into walmart you see these really cute Easter dresses well I had it totally planned that I was going to buy one for Taylor and Brianna. Well I was at walmart with one of my friends and we walked past the fabric aisle and I saw this really cute dress from project runway so I found the pattern and some cute material but then I looked at the price of the pattern it was 13 bucks but then I found 2 really cute patterns for 3 dollars. So I decided to attempt to make the Eatser dresses. I decided I didnt like the Christmas dresses I made mainly due to the first time they wore them they basically shredded to bits and Briannas was so huge on her. So I decided to take the challenge on and I have to still put the zippers in but I am alot happier with these dresses then I was with the Christmas dresses. As soon as I get pics with the girls in them I will get them posted

I knew he didnt since I worked with Casey Bryans sister and she told me he really wanted to go with me.

Valentines Day

I know I am posting this a little late but I thought I would tell you all about my Valentines day. It was a pretty good day I went to the school to go and help with Bens valentines day party and it is so fun to watch these kids. Then we went to walmart after school and got Bryan Pirates 3 and then I saw some shirts that were on clearance for 3.00 so I let the kids pick one out for thier valentines gift they loved it. Then we got home and I was trying to decide what to do for dinner well Bryan loves KFC and I really cant stand it but since I love Bryan I went and got him some KFC he was loving it. He also got me a gift some a pair of pants and a shirt. All in all it was a pretty good day.

Ben's tooth

Ben's Tooth Ben finally lost his first tooth. He was so excited when it got loose, everyday he kept asking us if we could tie a string around his tooth and a door and then slam it but Bryan told him that he had to wait till it got looser. So the other day he came home from school wiggling his tooth saying it was ready so when Bryan got home he tied a piece of thread around his tooth and yanked. Out it came. Ben said it hurt a little but not much at all so we told him he had to put his tooth under his pillow and the tooth fairy would come and visit. So he put his tooth under the pillow and obviosly the toothfairy came when he woke up the next morning he put his hand under his pillow and was afraid that his tooth fell down to the floor since he couldnt feel it so he moved his pillow and there was a 1 dollar bill he was so excited he came running into our room to show us what the tooth fairy brought. I will have to post a pic when I get them down loaded he looks so cute.
