Sea World

Brianna crashed after a long morning. I wished did did this on the bus but o well.

So on Tues we took a bus to sea world. It was a lot of fun there. I knew Ben would be looking forward to seeing the sharks and he loved looking at them. Taylor wanted to see the polar bears and she loved the penguins. We went back twice to see them. Brianna also loved the sharks. We saw the Shamu show wich was really awsome Bryan took pics with his camera so one day I will get thosse down loaded so everyone can see them. We also saw a dolphin show and a sea lion show. The shows were a lot of fun. Sea world does have rides there but we didnt get to ride any of them.

DisneyLand Day 1

We left for Disneyland 1 week ago Sunday at 3:00 in the morning I was surprised that we actually got off at the time we were talking about and we arrived in California at about 3:00 in the afternoon and that was with our TomTom taking us on the opposite side of the city were disneyland is. So we got to our hotel and checked in. It was a nice hotel we stayed at the Tropicana the nicest thing about it was it pretty much right across the street from the entrance. My mom and dad were there but hadnt checked in yet so we waited for them to check in and when everyone got checked into the hotel my mom wanted to go to Knottsberry farm to check out the shops. So we went there and walked around. The next morning we woke up bright and early and went over to the park I will have to post our pics of the family later because we ended up getting that on day 3 with my dad's and I believe Amy took a pic also cuase I l eft my batteries at the hotel. We made a deal with Ben that he had to ride every ride that he could go on once and if he didnt want to do it again then he didnt have to. The very first ride was Indiana Jones, Bryan went on it with Ben and me and Beth took Brianna and Taylor to walk up Tarzans tree house. Ben wanted to go on that ride so bad and when he got off it he would not go again so off we went to another ride. Eliza wasnt feeling well that day and she puked during lunchtime it was kind of gross luckily we were all pretty much done with our lunch when she lost her cookies. We also went on the pirates ride that day. Ben and Taylor begged to go on that ride again. One nice thing was since my mom couldnt really walk around the park all day she got a wheel chair adn so we were able to get in the front of the line on some rides so we didnt have to wait at all. We also saw Jasmine and Aladdin and had them sign the books for the kids. Ben said Jasmine was his favorite character. We also took Ben and Taylor on splash mountain and at 1st Ben said he liked it but after a day of thinking about it he totally refused to get back on the ride. Lesson Learned

You would think I would have learned my lesson this morning. Yeah right. Ok here is the background Bryans car died on Sat so I told him to go ahead and take the car to work this morning. So Me and the kids get ready to walk to school and I realize that we forgot Bens backpack with his lunch and I go to go inside and I can not open the garage door with our code. So this afternoon I go to get Ben and dont take my keys again (cause the code worked when I got home) and I cant get the garage open again. So I sat outside till about 4:00 then went over to my neighbors house. I visited for about 15 mins then go back home hoping I could get back in. Nope. My neighbor drives by on her way to dinner with her husband and I told her to go ahead and eat dinner and if I was still outside we would go to Bryans work to get the keys. Well in the mean time my my other neighbor went and got the keys from Bryan so I was locked out of my house for over an hour. Ben Taylor and I played i spy with my little eye till I ran out of thinhgs to spy. So I have learned my lesson to always have my keys with me no matter where I go. And that I will not trust my stupid garage door code.

DisneyLand

So we decided as an extended family to take a family vacation minus my sister and Brother in law and younger brother (they will be sorely missed) and we are going to be going to DisneyLand. We leaving on Oct 5 and we will be gone until the 11th so we are so excited 14 days and counting. We will be doing disneyland for 4 days and then we will be doing seaworld 1 day also. We are staying in the Tropican which is right across the street from the park so all we need to do is get up and go. I am so excited. Here are some pics of us when we got our package. I was in my Pj.s (sort of) when we finally opened it so dont mind my miss matched outfit. I do not walk around town that way.

I also have to add we didnt take pics of the inside of the box cause there was nothing really to fun for pics. Look for updates from disneyland.

Taste of Home Coooking Show

Every year for my home business I do taste of home cooking show. Last night I was getting my stuff ready for the goody bags. Well this yr instead of doign a business card I decided to do a recipe card with candy on stapled on the card. I was stapling the candy last night and my kids kept getting into the candy so of course I was getting very frusterated. I stopped working for a bit and told Ben and Taylor not to touch anything. Well Ben started stapling the candy on the cards and he was doing such a good job I decided to let them all help me. Brianna would hand me the candy and I would put the candy on the card and Ben would staple the candy on then I would give the card to Bug to put in the box. They helped me get through with the ones I had my info on so fast. Now I only need to do 300 more then I will be done for good. This morning when the kids woke up I gave them 1 dollar for helping they were so excited.

I know I have had a few posts about Brianna but I took some pretty dang cute pics of her. It also shows what we have been doing with her. Brianna turned 2 on July 23rd and when ever i changed her diaper she would throw a fit cause I didnt let her sit on the potty. So we came home from UT and in underwear she went. She has been doing ok but she still struggles. She will not for the life of me poop in the potty though. Hopefully that will come really soon. She seems to tell us she needs to go potty while we are traveling so maybe when we are in Disneyland she will figure out everything without driving us all nuts.
