Baseball

I know I just posted about Ben and baseball but at Bens game on Sat he hit 2 balls. He got a score for his team which was pretty exciting. The 2nd ball that he hit was a foul and he didnt hit anymore. I was so excited. He also played a really good soccer game. He got tripped during the 1st part of the game but he got up and played again. He kind of had to though since we had 3 kids show up and 1 showed up on the other team so Cole went and played for the other team. What great team spirit.

Baseball

We have been so busy these past few weeks driving Ben to Baseball, Taylor dance and Ben soccer. But we have been having a blast. Ben just had baseball practice yesterday and he was so excited cause he was able to hit the ball twice. We have been telling him to keep the eye on the ball but he seems to be missing all the balls he hits. Well Bryan took a picture of him trying to hit the ball and he closes his eyes! no wonder why he isnt hitting the ball=) Ben has Baseball practice 2x's a week and 2 baseball games a week one during the weekday and one on Sat. His 1st game and 2nd game overlapped but we were able to play one of the games on Fri night which was really nice. Ben is still doing really well in school. I am torn whether I want him to have a break or not. I know that sounds mean but when Ben and Taylor get together they seem to fight. ALOT. drives me insane.

I know this doesnt have anything to do with baseball but I made to cakes for my friends kids and I wanted to show everyone what I did.

Fun Weekend

Becky and Mike came out this weekend and we had a blast. They came out Fri night and got a hotel then on Sat morning they came over and we went to the park it was so cold but the kids had a lot of fun. At the park there is a huge slide that gets very dark in it and we could not get Ben to go down even if one of our lives depened on it. He was saying that he was scared of the dark. I dont know how he will move downstairs if he is scared of the dark. Spring Break went by really fast for us which was really nice.

Easter

I know I am late in posting this but Happy Easter we had a great day the night before we made resurection cookies which the kids didnt care for so I will not make them again. But the next day was good. The girls looked so cute in thier dresses. I will get them posted when Bryan down loads them.
The day before Easter was my friends daughters birthday and I made her cake for her it turned out really cute. I really love decorating cakes it is alot of fun. I made a butterfly for her. It was pretty easy to do once I figured it out.
We had parent teacher conferences for Ben the other day and he is doing awsome. He got all 3's and 4's. 3's are meeting expectations and 4 is exceeding expectations. His teacher is going to retest his reading to see where he is at. When he was tested the 1st time he was at end of 1st begining of 2nd grade level. She is working with him so well.
Spring Break started this week and yesterday was a crazy day the kids would not listen to me at all. But today is much better hopefully the rest will be good.

We have the crud

We have what I am calling the crud here in my house. Taylor got sick on Fri with a fever it stayed until Sun then on Mon she felt fine and the fever went away. Well guess what it came back yesterday. I did take her to the dr just to make sure everything was fine and she said that it is definitly viral and it has been lasting 2-3 weeks. Yikes. I am really hopeing that no one else gets it here in my family. I have a fair to do on Sat from 9-5 so I definitly need my energy up to do that plus I have a show to do tomorrow and I really cant be sick for that. Brianna does have a runny nose and a cough and Ben also has a cough. So I am hoping that they dont get any worse I definitly cant imagine Ben being out of school for 1 week that would be a nightmare trying to do all that make up work while he is sick.

Easter dresses

You know when you go into walmart you see these really cute Easter dresses well I had it totally planned that I was going to buy one for Taylor and Brianna. Well I was at walmart with one of my friends and we walked past the fabric aisle and I saw this really cute dress from project runway so I found the pattern and some cute material but then I looked at the price of the pattern it was 13 bucks but then I found 2 really cute patterns for 3 dollars. So I decided to attempt to make the Eatser dresses. I decided I didnt like the Christmas dresses I made mainly due to the first time they wore them they basically shredded to bits and Briannas was so huge on her. So I decided to take the challenge on and I have to still put the zippers in but I am alot happier with these dresses then I was with the Christmas dresses. As soon as I get pics with the girls in them I will get them posted
