Brianna's big day

Last week we celebrated Brianna's 2nd birthday. Wow it is so crazy to see how fast they grow up. On Wed I made a birthday cake for her. I tried to make it look like a are bear but it didnt really look like one but it was still cute. That same night we invited some friends over to have some cake and ice cream. For Brianna's present we bought her a play house and she really likes it.
Then on Fri we went to UT to celebrate her birthday and to visit family. It was a lot of fun. On Sat morning we decided to go to and see spae chimps and 1/2 way through the movie the fire alarms went off and we got kicked out of the movies. They couldn't find the ause of the alarms so we got our money refunded and we went to Caseys house and let the kids play in the water instead. Then Sat night we went to the park and had ice cream cake for Brianna's party.

Happy 4th of July

I an posting this 1 day later but Happy 4th of July. We had a great day, we started the day out as the last day of the kids swimming lessons. On this day they let the kids just do what they wanted. Taylor was in the kiddie pool and I was so shocked at how well she was swimming she was doing so good. Ben was in the 11ft deep with a life jacket on but he is doing really well at swimming also. After that we went over to our friends house and we BBq'd hambut=rgers and hot dogs and let the kids swim and do a slipn slid they had a lot of fun. Then about 5:00 we BBQ'd again we had steak sandwiches and dutch oven cobbler. Then we walked over to watch the fireworks. It was a lot of fun.
This morning we got up and went over to the Basque parade the kids got lots of candy. Then taylor went to a birthday party and I took Ben and Brianna swimming. Brianna sure loves the water. (yikes)

Brianna

Brianna lately has had a love of shoes she is always asking to put her shoes on. If she sees any type of shoes or socks she is putting them on. Everyday she is getting more of a personality it is so fun to watch. She is definitly letting you know that she is a big girl, she wants to walk everywhere instead of being carried and she wants to use the potty. Brianna is also now in a BIG girl bed. We ended up moving Ben downstairs (finally) and put Taylor on the top bunk and Brianna in the bottom bunk. She absolulty loves it.

Taylor

So Little Miss Taylor has been in dance since Aug and she has enjoyed very bit of it. So today we got to see her dance recital and see all that she has learned this yr and she did so good. She did 2 dances 1 was to itsy bitsy spider and the 2nd was old McDonald. her class seemed to know the dances pretty well were other kids didnt know them as well. Last day of school

Bens last day of school was May 30. For his last day the kindergarteners put on a little program. They sang songs and then afterwards they had an ice cream social. It was alot of fun. Ben is now a big 1st grader he had to tell everyone that he was in 1st grade it was so cute.

Baseball

I know I just posted about Ben and baseball but at Bens game on Sat he hit 2 balls. He got a score for his team which was pretty exciting. The 2nd ball that he hit was a foul and he didnt hit anymore. I was so excited. He also played a really good soccer game. He got tripped during the 1st part of the game but he got up and played again. He kind of had to though since we had 3 kids show up and 1 showed up on the other team so Cole went and played for the other team. What great team spirit.

Baseball

We have been so busy these past few weeks driving Ben to Baseball, Taylor dance and Ben soccer. But we have been having a blast. Ben just had baseball practice yesterday and he was so excited cause he was able to hit the ball twice. We have been telling him to keep the eye on the ball but he seems to be missing all the balls he hits. Well Bryan took a picture of him trying to hit the ball and he closes his eyes! no wonder why he isnt hitting the ball=) Ben has Baseball practice 2x's a week and 2 baseball games a week one during the weekday and one on Sat. His 1st game and 2nd game overlapped but we were able to play one of the games on Fri night which was really nice. Ben is still doing really well in school. I am torn whether I want him to have a break or not. I know that sounds mean but when Ben and Taylor get together they seem to fight. ALOT. drives me insane.

I know this doesnt have anything to do with baseball but I made to cakes for my friends kids and I wanted to show everyone what I did.
