Brianna

So this yr Brianna turned 5. I cant believe she is 5 yrs old. Time has sure flown by really fast. We had a birthday party for her and invited her friends from church. Here is a picture of her with her cake.

She loved all the presents she got. At Christmas Taylor got a Jopurney Girl doll and Brianna would play with it all the time so we got her one for her birthday. She really loves it and her and Taylor play together with it all the time. Her Granny bought her some outfits also for her doll.

We did a little bbq with her friends and I sure hope they all had fun. It was great seeing all the kids having fun.

Summer

So I have tried to do a post bit for some reason it would not let me publish it. A lot has gone on since summer has begun. At the begining of June we went to Ut for Bryans cousins wedding, well while we were there we took Taylor to the dr.s thinking maybe she had a uti. Nope her urine did not have any white blood cells in it but it had a huga amount of sugar. What does that mean? Well it means that she has diabetes. She is doing so awsome. We did have to cancel her plans to go to DisneyLand with her Aunt Beth, Aunt Amy, Ben and cousin Eliza but she was a trooper through it all. We did end up at Primary Childrens hospital for 1 1/2 days so that we could get the training we need for her. It is so much easier then I thought it would be. It does take a little bit more time getting meals done due to having to check sugars, counting carbs and gettig her shot ready but all in all we are getting the hang of it. We did have Brianna tested and hopefully those test come back fine. We really havent done to much witht he kids just let them hang out with thier frinds and play outside.

Random Happenings

So I havent posted in awhile not sure if anyone really reads my blog but I will blog anyway =). Well in Oct (yes Oct) Bryan and I decided that we would start a new project well that project enatailed redoping the bathroom. We had a crack in our tub so we hadnt used the tub for over 1 yr. So we had a little extra money and dived into this project. Here are some pics of the bathroom, before and during. We still arent 100% all the way done. We still have to put the toilet back in, finish the tile and put the fixtures on the tub. So cant wait till I can take a shower in my upstairs bathroom.

Thanksgiving

I know I am obvioslly a little behind but I finally loaded some pics for Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving we went to UT to visit family. We spent Thurs and 1/2 of Fri with Bryans family. I feel bad but I forgot to take pictures there but we had lots of fun. We went to his sisters house and had dinner and played bingo. On Fri afternoon we left and met my family at the aquarium.
I had never been there and the kids seemed to have lots of fun. The next day the men stayed home and watched the BYU Utah game while the girls took the kids to the planatarium then later the men joined us at Temple square. I havent been to Tewmple square for ever. I really enjoyed going there and seeing the lights. Most of my family got cold so they took trax to dinner while me Bryan and my dad stayed and looked around some more.

Disneyland

Our family took a week long vacation to Disneyland this yr. We had a lot of fun. We went with Bryan's family and it was so fun to be with everyone, we are talking about doing another vaction in a few years with his family, I also want to do one with my family again. So we got there on Sat and we met up with his sister Casey and went to the beach. It was so much fun, I didnt have batteries in my camera since they were in the car. But the kids had so much fun. Bryan got in the water with them. Brianna would not go in the ocean at all, she later told me it was cause sharks live in the water. Ben had her so scared it wasnt even funny. She would even hold our hand to go in. Then on Sun we drove to San Diego and met up with Kim and Nate and Mike and Roni, and went to Sea World. We saw the Shamu show it was really neat, the trainers dont get in the water right now cause of the accident in Florida but it is still fun to watch the trainers interact with the whales. Then Mon we went to Disney with just me Bry and the kids. It was fun just having some time to ourselves. It was a lite rain while we were there so it wasnt to bad.
Brianna went on a lot of rides with us but later said she would not go back on them. She even told me today she would not go back on splash mountain. She was a trooper though. Her favorite ride I believe was Heimlichs chew train. She called it the ride where we helped him find food. SInce it was rainey the whole week we really didnt get to see alot of characters. We did get to see Tinker Bell and Mickey. When we were able to see Minnie Brianna was so tired she told me she didnt want to see Minnie or any other Characters. She was done. We were able to go on Soarin this time and not only did we do it once we did it 7 times. The kids loved it. Brianna's favorite part was when Tinker Bell shows up at the end. She said Tinker Bell came just to see her. It was way cute, she said that every time. Bryans parents showed up on Tues and they seemed to really enjoy it. Mike has become quite the pin collector now. He had to find a pin for every ride he went on.

The first picture is of the kids, and a friend they made in line. We ended up going on a few rides with her. Her mom went in one of the rides and was probably wondering what she was thinking. There was lots of screaming from 3 little girls.

Weight loss success

So right now I dont have any pictures on the computer of me and Bryan. When we came home from a family reunion in June we both decided it was time for us to go on a diet. I was the heaviest I have ever been minus being pregnant. So we decided to go off of sugar. Bryan has stayed completely off sugar since we came home, and I have done decent. I started going to t5he track everyday. My goal was to run a 5K by the end of summer (which didnt happen) but I was able to run at least 2 miles. When schol started I was unable to go to the track due to time constraints so I quit playing volleyball and now 5 days a week I go to the church and do insanity. I love the work out. I sweat so much doing this but it is great.
So you are probably wondering what I have lost. I have lost so far 31 lbs and want to lose at least 10 more. When I am down that 10 I will re evaluate and see If I want to go down 5-10 more lbs.
Bryan who hasnt really been able to work out but tries to get moving more at work has lost about 1/2 his goal weight. He looks so awsome. I feel so much better myself.

School has started

So we have been in school now for 2 weeks. It has kept us pretty busy. The kids go to school and I need to be there by 8 so that I can do croossing guard, then I pick them up at 3. I have been trying to walk to pick them up which has been really nice for me. I dont have to find a parking spot.
Taylor has gotten the same teacher that we had for Ben in the 1st grade. She will do awsome with her. Ben has gotten a pretty cool teacher also. I was talking to the interpreter and he said she is very strict. What I really love about this teacher is I see daily what homework he has and what he did in class that day.
On Tues Ben has cubs, from 4-5 then he has to come home and do homework. Then he can go play for a bit. We are also starting the soccer season. I will have 2 kids in soccer which will keep me pretty busy. Taylor will have soccer practice 2 days a week and I havent heard from Bens soccer coach yet. If I dont hear by Tues I will need to call the soccer people, since thier 1st soccer game is Sat.

On top of all the kids activities I am still selling Pampered Chef. Now taht I have 2 kids in school all day, as long as the hostess doesnt mind me bringing #3 I am doing daytime show. So in Sept right now I havew 5 shows scheduled and 3 of them are daytime shows. Which will be really nice to have it done before the evening. We are not doing dance this yr mainly cause Taylor wants to try soccer and baseball and Brianna will just hang with me.
Soon we will be going to Disneyland again this time we will be going with Bryans family we are so excited to go. $900 of the trip was paid for by Pampered Chef. I earned thier incentive trip to go to DW but we as a family decided that we would take the gift card and go to DL. We figured we could go for 7 days for the same price we could go to DW for 3.

Brianna

Wow I can not believe that 4 yrs ago I had my beatufil little girl. She has grown up so fast it amazes me. This year for her birthday I decided to do a little party for her and her friends. First I made a Tinker Bell cake which turned out pretty cute. She loves Tinker Bell




Then I got it into my head to make her a barbie house, Well when I started my project I called my mom and asked her if she would run to DI or Savers and see if she could find any Barbie furniture and buy them for me. Well they went over to Savers and couldnt find anything, so my mom went to Beth and they made Brianna some furniture. Brianna and Taylor both love the house and they play with it all the time. I still need to put the roof on the house but it wont go up until we get it put up in her bedroom.

Summer

Summer has now began. The kids got out of school the 1st week of June, Ben and Taylor both missed the last day due to the Young family reunion. We packed our car at and left at 8 in the morning and drove over to Bear Lake. We stayed at a boy scout camp there, it was lots of fun. After the reunion we headed over to my families house and stayed there for a few days. I went to see Dr. Bingham and everything is great for with my valve. When we came home I started going to the track, so I go to the track everyday at 7 and walk/run, hoping to lose more weight. The kids are also doing a summer dance camp which keeps me busy also. The kids are really loving it. I alos put Ben in a hip hop class which he loves.
I signed Ben and Taylor up for soccer in the fall, so Taylor wont be doing dance next yr.

Dance Recital

Well this yr for dance has come and gone. Taylor and Brianna were in dance this yr and they really enjoyed it. At the end of the year they always doa dance recital to show thier parents what they learned. They get costumes and go out on the stage. They both did so good during the recital. The costumes were cute even though I was a little bit dissapointed in Taylors costume this year she realy loves it. She also thanked me for buying it for her yesterday while doing her hair.
Taylor even though she loves dance so much will be trying her hand a soccer and baseball next yr and since those are such busy sports she will be taking a year off a dance.

Easter

Well today was Easter and what a great day it was. We got up this am and the kids got thier baskets, and they also hunted for eggs. Teh easter bunny decdided to do plastic eggs but the kids did get to dye some. They had a blast doing it. In 3 of the eggs there was a $1 bill in it so each of the kids got $1. Brianna was the funniest when she opened it. She was excited because she got a "book". The girls got 2 outfits, and a pair of flip flops, and Ben got an oputfit, pants and a basketball, since he now wants to play basketball. We have to wait till next yr though. The easter bunny decided not to get them any toys since they have so many as it is. Plus Granny and Papa sent them each a gift card to walmart, so I will take them shopping (fun)
On top of the easter celebration we also had general conference for our church. There where lots of really good talks today and what I heard yesterday.

Update

So I believe it is time to update my blog, I have been really bad lately. The kids have started school. Ben is in 2nd greade and loving it, Bug is in K, and Brianna is in preschool.

Ben had his 8th birthday and was baptized, I was really happy that most of or family came to the baptizm. Ben as so excited for it to happen. He was grinning ear to ear.

Since Bens birthday he ha also started cb scouts, he has really enjoyed going to that. In Feb we had the pine wood derby even thogh he didnt do to much in making it he got to paint it, he picked the color and everything. He had a blast racing it.

Bug also has had a birthday, she is now 6 yrs old. Cant believe how fast time goes, it seems jst like yesterday that she was a tiny little baby in my arms.

Brianna as i stated is in preschool this yr and she really likes to go. She goes 2 days a week and she gets to go on a lot of n field trips. Her most recent one was to the fire station. It was really neat to go there and see all the cool trucks they have there. Ben and Taylor were pretty sad that they didnt get to go. I will probably take them one of these days.

Talylor and Brianna are both in dance and they both love it. I love watching Brianna walk around with her hands on her hips like her teacher.

Brianna

So in July my baby girl turned 3. It is so amazing how fast they grow up. It seems just like yesterday I was brining her home. We had a fe of our friends over for cake and ice cream. I made a Minnie Mose cake for her and she really loved it. Then the next day which was really her bday we had her open her present which was a bkie and she loves it.

Dance pictures

So I know it has been awhile, a few things have happened since my last post. Taylor had her dance recital and she did really good. The costumes were awsome. Lisa from church made them.

Then sometime in the middle of July my kiddos decided to play barber shop. I was downsatirs folding laundry when Taylor said mom Ben cut my hair, well I went upstairs and talylors pig tails were cut off. So I had to take her to the salon to get her hair cut. She looks really cute, it did take a little bit of time getting used to it, but I really do love it now. Not really much I can do with it but she really likes it. 1 day while she as in the tub she did ask why her hair was so short. I told her to think about it and then ask again, she has yet to ask again.

The last month

So this last month has been kind of busy. Ben as in baseball and he had practice 2 days a week and games 2 days a week so we were pretty busy there. Ben had a lot of fun playing baseball. At 1st he was really timid of the ball, we worked really hard to get Ben so he wasnt afraid of the ball, finally he got to the point where he wasn't. His coach was a great coach, the 2nd to last game I asked if Ben could be put on a base and he qas able to play 2nd, he was awsome at it, he got a kid out, he as really excited. Our last game as cancelled due to a huge thinder and lighting storm. Ben was really sad, he told me he was trying not to cry in the car while e ere heading over to pizza barn. I was sad for him.


Ben also had his last day of school on May 29th. He passed with flying colors and is excited to go on to 2nd grade. Cant wait to find out hat teacher he got.


Taylor has been in dance and she just finished her dance recital. She did great. Her costum as really cute. A lady from church makes all the dance costumes, she does an awsome job.


Taylor has also learned how to ride a 2 wheel bike, unfortunatly because of the street we live on the kids dont get to go otside a whole lot to ride bikes, but she is doing really good.


Taylor is starting kindergarten next yr and she is so excited. We are going to work more on her letters and sounds starting this week.




Brianna has been Brianna. She is such a sweet little girl very passinate and caring of her bother and sister. If they are sad she will go up to them and gie them hugs.

So we had a great Easter the Easter bunny didnt really hide any eggs but he hid a little bit of candy. The kids had an Easter egg hunt in Utah while they were visiting their granny and papa. After church we had ham and we also made resurrection rolls. It was fun.

Whats going on in my life

So after my dear friend asked me what was goin on in my life I decided I better post. (Thanks Elizabeth=))
Actually nothing much has really been going on. I go and play volleyball mon, wed and Fri it is really fun. Last week I didnt feel very well and the week before that we had pink eye. It was horrible. Then Brianna ended up with cold sores and Bryan was also sick. I hope and pray that we are all better now.
Taylor is still doing dance and she will be having her recital on June 6 I am so excited to see how well she does. I need to decide what to sign her up for next yr. She ill either do Jazz 1 or beginning ballet, not quite sure yet. We are waiting for K registration. we will be asking for the afternoon class because I just think it will be easier.
We signed Ben up for baseball again, and cant ait for it to start. I need the warmer weather. I am so sick of it being cold here.
One day i ill get Brianna potty trained. She decided she did not want to do it so she just quit She loves Dora so I am tryin to bribe her with a Dora DVD but who knows. Today I asked her when she was going to start going on the potty again and she said never. One day I will get her.
Spring break is coming up and the kids will be going down to UT to visit thier Granny and Papa. They will be there a few days the I will meet my mom in Wendover to get the kids. It will definitly be different with 2 kids gone. I plan on orking ith Brianna those days that they are gone but we will see what happens.
